Origianlly an old Borgo, I Casali di Monticchio is now a charming manor set among the rolling hills where Tuscany meets Umbria. It's luxurious accommodations, delightful dining and farmhouse living creates a truly peaceful setting.Just beyond the border of famous Tuscany is Umbria, somethimes called the 'Green Heart of Italy'. It's here that I Casali di Monticchio can be found; a beautifully restored farmhouse where traditional style blends effortlessly with every modern facility. Most of the suites have their own kitchen, living room with fireplace and private garden. Each of the bedrooms is individually furnished with the finest fabrics and soothing colours.The manor's elegant resaurant can be found in the former stables, where delicious Umbrian delicacies are sure to impress even the most discerning palate. Thge property is also locally renowned for producing its own organic produce including wine, olive oil and honey. The different buildings of the hotel are located in the middle of the umbrian hills only 13km away from the motorway A1 (Rome-Florence, exit Fabro). In the surroundings of 100km you will find a lot of famous umbrian an toscan cities like Perugia, Siena, Orvieto, Montalcino etc. Close to the hotel are located two natural reserves. |
