Smoking will be allowed in designated areas outside the hotel.* The Best Western Ambleside Salutation Hotel overlooks the centre of Ambleside, a pretty village in the heart of the Lake District. Tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms and Club rooms feature a trouser press, hairdryer, television with satellite channels and refreshments tray. Many rooms enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding fells. Our Garden Restaurant offers a three course menu featuring local produce or for something more informal we have a selection of bar meals available in our Bistro area at lunch & dinner. Meeting facilities are available for up to 80 delegates in our Conference and Syndicate rooms, providing a relaxing yet professional environment. The Leisure Club offers a fitness room, indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi�. The Best Western Ambleside Salutation Hotel has a fishing permit for residents, which offers fishing on local waters; all you need is a rod license. We will also be happy to arrange for golf at nearby villages, Windermere or Keswick, for which you will require a handicap certificate.
