The Country Relais I Due Laghi **** is a charming hotel where Guests are welcomed with familiarity and professionalism. The Hotel has been obtained out of an ancient Country house in the Campagna Romana, and is located in a property which covers more than 150 hectares. It is surrounded by ancient post stations placed along the French Route, which was used by travellers of the Grand Tour since the 19th century. In the possession are bred goats, sheeps, cows of the Maremma and horses. Meat and cheese produced in the cheese-factory of the property, refurnish the restaurant La Posta de Cavalieri, which is located in the Country Relais.Moreover, the possession is supplied with a Horse-riding circle and organizes the Irish Drag Hunt, it is possible to ride with an instructor and to make promenades with a guide.The Drag Hunt is organized in the period which goes from October to May. The Horse-riding circle was the first in Italy to be approved by the notorious British Horse Society, in 1999. |

| The restaurant La Posta de Cavalieri proposes a healthy and genuine menu of the territory, exalting the farm-products. Food is culture, and culture is history. The Restaurant organizes on request, for small groups, events such as Pasta Party, Wine Tasting, Visit to the Dairy. It will be a Voyage of Discovery. PASTA PARTY is a live show regarding the history of pasta. Signora Assunta, our Pasta Maker, will show you how to do it, with its ingredients, shapes and colours soon after a Gourmet Dinner will be served, with three kinds of pasta. WINE AND CHEESE TASTING is an historical roundup about the origin of wine in Etruria Ancient Tuscany. This region was the meeting point of the vine cultivation among the ancient Greeks, native Etruscans and the Romans. A taste of these wines will follow. Enter the Via Appia direction Rome, enter the G.R.A. -Grande Raccordo Anulare- in the North direction, as if you wanted to take the A1 towards Florence, instead, get off at the exit no.5 -Cassia Bis Veientana, direction Viterbo- and continue until you reach the 35 km marker, then follow the indications for Anguillara. After 6.5 kms again, turn left for Anguillara and drive for about 7 kms along the lake until you reach our traffic signs, turn left into Via della Marmotta and after 800m there is the entrance of the property Due Laghi, at the end of the road you find the Country Relais. Inclusively 75 kms. |

Take the highway direction Rome, after 7 kms enter the A12 towards Civitavecchia take the exit at Torre in Pietra, continue towards the Via Aurelia, direction Grosseto. After a big stoplight, ride for about 900m and then turn right, for Bracciano, after 18 kms you enter in the Via Claudia Braccianese SS 493 -Roma/Bracciano- turn left for Bracciano and after 500m turn right towards Anguillara, pass the level-crossing, after 5 kms turn left, direction lago, once you are in front of the lake, turn right and continue for 600m, after a short, steep slope, turn left towards Trevignano and drive for 1000 m along the lake until you reach our traffic signs, turn right, into Via della Marmotta, after 800m there is the entrance of the property Due Laghi and at the end of the road you will find the Country Relais. Inclusively 49 kms. |

SWIMMING POOL |
| The swimming pool of the Country Relais is active in summer, it is surrounded by the vegetation of the property and is particularly adequate for moments of total relaxation. Together with the bar on the poolside, where it is possible to have a nice aperitif or a refreshing ice-cream, you will also find comfortable sun beds, deck-chairs and towels. Safety is guaranteed by professional bathing attendants. The outdoor swimming pool is open from June to September. |

ARCHEO DIVING |
| It is possible to organize immersions to archaelogical sites in the waters of both the lakes of Bracciano and Martignano, and also in the sea in front of the S.Severa Castle. The extremely reduced degree of difficulty allows this practice also for those who do not own a Scuba license. The activity is attended and coordinated by enabled instructors who furnish technical assistance and equipment. HORSE RIDING |
| Horse riding lessons in sand camps, jump racing, grass camps, dressage, and promenades in the property. Maria Guttridge, english, B.H.S. II, is the instructor and guide. Correct clothing, boots, riding pants, cap. Moreover, the Due Laghi also organizes horse-ride trips which are combined with riding-stages articulated in ground control, jump racing and cross-country. The Tuscia Training Program and Trail Ride, of the duration of one week, combines horse-riding lessons, promenades in the hills, between both the lakes of Bracciano and Martignano, which surround the property, and guided visits to the sites of archaeological and historical interest of the area. The last two days are dedicated to archaeology on a horseback with the Etruscan and Ancient Roman Archaeological Trail Ride. The itinerary develops through the panorama of the Roman Tuscia, in which the suggestion of the archaeological remains embraces harmoniously the beauty of wild surroundings, the group will be led by the herdsmen and will, by horse, pass through the Monterano Natural Park, with its dead city, the Roman bridge of Seiano on the Via Clodia, the Roman paving along the Selciatella, the Caldara National Park of Manziana, the Tolfa mounts, and the Etruscan tombs of the Mignone river. At the end of the day, the group returns to the Due Laghi Relais. |
