The Hotel Regina, located right next to the Plaza de Catalunya half way between the famous Ramblas and the boutiques on the Paseo de Gracia, is a fine example of a vintage Barcelona hotel, constructed in 1917 and painstakingly refurbished in 2006.The hotel's contemporary interior design gives pride of place to detail and comfort, embracing warm colours to create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.The hotel is located in the city's most privileged area, in the centre of the Eixample district where Barcelona's two most cosmopolitan avenues begin, close to restaurants, the Cathedral, the Palau de la M?sica, the city's main concert venue, and the Liceo Opera House.The Hotel Regina is a Barcelona classic in its own right, and while it has been modernised by meticulous decoration it has not lost its essence and character in the slightest.
