The Royal Hotel Cardiff boasts one of the best city centre locations within Wales Capital. It is a Grade II Listed Victorian building in Italianate Style built in 1866 and is Cardiff s oldest hotel. The 64 bedrooms in this urban retreat are of a modern contemporary style with the latest technology which includes Air Conditioning, 37 or 42 inch LCD TV s, in room safe and free Broadband Connection. Wi-Fi is offered complimentary in the hotel Lounge Bar where you can relax over a couple of drinks and eat from the great selection of light meals, sandwiches and snacks.
Meeting and Events rooms are available, the largest being the famous Oak Panelled Scott Room which can seat up to 130 guests and is an ideal wedding venue. It was in this room that Captain Robert Falcon Scott held his farewell dinner prior to his fateful expedition to the Antarctic in 1910.
The Royal Hotel is situated right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Cardiff s famous St Mary s Street. A 5 Minute walk from the Train Station and St David s Shopping Centre and a 2 minute walk from the Millennium Stadium.

The Royal Hotel, Cardiff is centrally located, the hotel is just a 1 minute walk from the central train and bus station, and 2 minutes from the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle, National Museum of Wales and business districts. In 10 minutes drive you can be outside the city enjoying the Welsh countryside and landscape, horse back riding or walking along a beach.
