A coffee hot spot set way up in the highlands of Magelang, Losari Coffee Plantation Resort and Spa sits in 60 acres of lush vegetation encircled by eight volcanoes. This is a magical place with awe-inspiring views, beautiful villa accommodation, a working coffee plantation, spa and a unique former railway station that has been converted into a reception.
All the villas are spacious and reconstructed from original Javanese houses, with ornate woodcarving, unusual antiques and contemporary artefacts and verandas overlooking the volcanoes. Afternoon tea is served in the 1928 mansion house.
Wake up to the view of the volcanoes emerging out of the morning mist. Tour the coffee plantation or try lessons in Javanese cooking, dance and healing exercises. Enjoy a re-balancing massage in the spa, or ride an elephant. The following day, take a steam train trip, tour the waterfalls and then relax with a cocktail by the infinity pool.
