Since 2008 the hotel has occupied 6 floors of a building that was once the tallest in Europe and the first of its kind in Germany. Built in 1925 as a tower and main annexe/ the Hansahochhaus has arguably given rise to the largest rooms to be found in any 4-star hotel in Cologne. The bright rooms offer modern furnishings and state-of-the-art technology. The traditions and history of the establishment survive in its period features and an original paternoster lift.
