The Djibouti Palace Kempinski will open in November 2006 to host the COMESA (Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa) Meeting of the Council of Ministers. The Djibouti Palace Kempinski will be a landmark for the Republic of Djibouti on the East coast of the 'Horn of Africa', offering true five star luxury service and standards throughout the palace and its state-of-the-art conference centre. The property's first phase will open in November 2006 with an initial 177 rooms and suites, the full complement of the prestigious conference centre's meeting rooms, several restaurants and an entertainment centre. Completion of the second phase is expected for Summer 2007, with a further 160 rooms, suites and residences, Spa & fitness centre, tennis courts, casino and discotheque.
