Ballantrae Hotel is located in the heart of the city centre. Only two minutes walk from Princes Street and five minutes from the Waverley Station. The hotel is a late Georgian Regency style building with original, and ornamental features. The Ballantrae was built in the 1830's and has a warm modern ambience with a friendly atmosphere. Ideal for shopping, entertainment and it is walking distance to most major tourist attractions. We are now going to require that all confirmed bookings supply us with the 3 digit security code on the back of the card given to guarantee the booking. This is so we can make the appropriate charges in the case of a no show. The deposit of 50pct of the total amount of the reservation will be debited on the card mentioned, 14 days prior the arrival. as per our cancellation policy, until 2 days ( 48 hours ) prior to the arrival, the deposit will be refunded until that date limit. after that date, the deposit will be kept. and any cancellation or no show or early departure will be charged for the entire stay. the credit card details confirmed onto any notification will be used for the payment of this deposit

Ballantrae Hotel is based in the heart of the city centre and only two minutes walk from Princes Street. Near to all the major attractions, around the corner from Harvey Nichols and all the major shops in Edinburgh. Most entertainment, theatres and restaurants are within walking distance. 5 minutes from Waverley train Station giving you access to all major cities. 2 minutes walk from the bus station. There is a regular bus service to Edinburgh Airport.
