This beautiful hotel aged back from 1800 was taken in use 1862 and served as a City Hall. Early in the 1900s it became the City Hotel of Eksjo. Through the years the City Hotel of Eksjo has been conserved in a magnificent way. There is the adoring dining hall, which is also used as a conference centre, with its elevated ceiling and beautiful crystal crowns. Our restaurant is one of the few that has conserved its old fashioned style. The pub, has a more modern style, adjusted according to fashion and taste. The City Pub also offers you the possibility to enjoy your meal, or drink, on the veranda with a view of the town square. Youll find 37 rooms, 18 singles, 18 double rooms and a suite.Totally 56 beds. All the rooms are up to date and in our relax area youll find a hot steaming sauna. |

The city hotel is placed in the central part of town right at the main square, near the shopping street and only five minutes walk from the central station. We have free parking in front of the hotel. The nearest airport is Jonkopings International airport, Axamo, situated about 60 km from the hotel which is about a 45 minutes drive by car. Train to/from Stockholm and Malmo arrive/depart from the central station in Nassjo which is about 15 minutes drive by car. |
