An iconic Italianate building with an eye-catching windowless, cedar red facade, Hotel Il Palazzo has been recently renovated to provide spacious and stylishly decorated accommodation, a gourmet French restaurant, a theatre room, a famous bar and a superb wedding venue.
Rooms are decorated in calming browns and creams with some of the larger rooms and suites in black and grey with splashes of red. The Ankomst Lounge has colourful seating in red, yellow and blue set against a sophisticated, dark colour palette.
Take the short walk across the river to Canal City, a large shopping complex with a canal running through its centre. Then, take the subway line to Ohori Park with Fukuoka Castle remains, an art museum, theatre and a pretty Japanese Garden. Return for cocktails in the hotel bar with its vast choice of Japanese drinks. |
