The ABode Glasgow Hotel is located in the heart of the city in the historic Art district, only minutes from George Square and Buchanan Street, the main financial and shopping districts. Both Queen Street and Central Railway Stations are about 5 to10 minutes walk from the ABode Glasgow or taxis are available outside.
This Edwardian building was the family home of Sir Henry
Campbell - Bannerman who was prime minister from 1905 until 1908.
The building later became the Department of Education Office. Abode Hotels then restored and refurbished the Grade B listed building into a grand 4* boutique hotel. The Abode Glasgow, has kept many of its original features including an elegant staircase, stained-glass windows,
and the old-fashioned original cage lift which greets you on arrival.

From the South & East, take the M8 to junction 18, signposted for Charing Cross/ Kelvinbridge. Be prepared to exit - there is only one warning of the junction approaching and the exit is from the right hand lane. Follow the slip road to the traffic lights and turn left into Sauchiehall Street. Continue to the T junction and turn right at the Bank of Scotland into Blythswood Street, continue 2 blocks then turn left into West Regent Street.
