Privately owned Hotel Arthur is located close to the Railway Station in the very centre of Helsinki. The main sights, biggest department stores, wide choice of bars and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Hotel Arthur has 167 rooms. The cosy rooms are provided with a colour-TV, Pay TV, direct dialing telephone, broadband internet connection and hair dryer - some with minibar and coffee making facilities. All the rooms are non-smoking and they feature wooden flooring without wall-to-wall carpeting The enlargement of Hotel Arthur was completed in the beginning of 2007 and 25 new rooms, Sir Arthur Suite and 1 family sauna were taken into use in the 7th floor. Together with the Turkish steam bath there are 3 family saunas. The new rooms as well as the more spacous superior class rooms meet the approval of an even more demanding traveller. Over 100 years old annex is build in the delightful Art Nouveau style and houses functional conference and banquet facilities for up to 500 guests. There are alltogether 15 meeting rooms starting from the magnificent Ball Room for 250 persons to smaller conference rooms. The chefs of Restaurant Arthur know how to prepare your meal. The delicious breakfast buffet as well as the buffet lunch have already become a concept both for individuals and groups. The á la carte menu offers tasty delicacies for big and small appetites. Restaurant Arthur seats 240 guests and is fully licensed. Hotel Arthur is a friendly hotel with an international atmosphere. It is an ideal choice whether you are in town for business, tourism or leisure. |
