The Milestone Hotel, known for its distinguished elegance and high levels of personal service, combines elegant living of a gracious past with every modern comfort and convenience for the business and leisure traveller. The Milestone's extraordinary touches go beyond and exceed all expectations. Complimentary champagne or sherry is offered to guests on arrival after 3pm, and soothing green tea for all morning arrivals. Guests may select a preference of soaps and toiletries from a display of world-renowned perfumeries delivered to rooms by the Executive Housekeeper. Other touches include fresh flowers, evening turndown and butler service. An array of different pillow types, shapes, and sizes, plus feather duvets are available to guests if preferred to a blanket. Each room is complete with an extensive selection of current magazines, with a beautiful Scottish blanket provided for those cosy reading moments. A fresh assortment of delicious fruit is delivered daily, together with a favourite choice of newspapers. In addition, DVD/CD players have been installed in every room with a wide range of music available. Upon departure, guests receive a small gift together with a travel size version of bottled mineral water. |
