The hotel is just a few steps from Piccadilly, fashionable Bond Street and Jermyn Street and is the perfect base for shopping, dining and theatres as well as a prestigious base for business in this exclusive London enclave.
Privately owned and managed by Kempinski hotels, The Stafford prides itself on discreet and friendly service with European flair. Care and attention to detail is evident in all our spacious guestrooms. Our 105 bedrooms have all been recently refurbished in a classic style with complimentary wireless internet, fine English bedding and bespoke Floris toiletries throughout. The Main House is made up of three 17th century townhouses and full of English charm and character. The Carriage House is an historic building formerly the stables for the stately homes which surround The Stafford, now 11 bedrooms and suites with their own front door into the courtyard. In 2007 we added 26 new suites in The Stafford Mews. These stunning suites enjoy a beautiful courtyard setting and our fully equipped gymnasium is also to be found in the Mews. With our cul-de-sac and courtyard setting we must be one of the quietest hotels in London.
The American Bar is a London classic, festooned with memorabilia donated over 50 years by our many regular guests, it is the perfect spot for a cocktail and ever popular for lunch with the outside tables the hottest in town when the sun is shining. The classic Lyttelton Restaurant is an elegant venue for a special dinner and our wine collection is unsurpassed - you can even dine in our 350 year old wine cellars.
