The New Hotel Miami is a true Beach House experience.
The New Hotel brings back the old Miami Beach, unspoiled, tropical, natural and real, a fresh alternative to the over-the-top, over priced venues found in South Beach. The 10-room little boutique hotel boasts fresh, clean rooms, organic, white bedding, energy efficient key cards that control the electricity, and high-tech internet and phone connectivity. Mosaic tiled showers, reminiscent of the tropical, chic Florida glory days have organic L'Occitane bath products that compliment completely the true beach house feel of the rooms. A small intimate pool and outside lounge area draws people in to be sun-kissed or just hang outside and enjoy a chilled wine or micro-brew without a care in the world. The on-site Gastro-Pub, Lou's Beer Garden, attracts a huge local following to stop by and experience the eclectic selection of micro-brewed beers and gourmet gastro-pub fare late into the night thus reaffirming the Hotels true jet set character. Why the New Hotel - Because it is the Fun Hotel. History - The New Hotel was built in 1937 and renovated in 2008 - a loving and detailed transformation of one of the original art deco small Hotels in the North Beach neighborhood where it is located. Originally called The JoAnn, the Hotel was designed by one of the renowned architects of the time, Victor Nellenbogen, famous for his other contributions in Miami Beach. The New Hotel and the North Beach District where it resides were included in the National Register of Historic Places in November 2009. |

The Hotel*s on-site Gastro-Pub, Lou's Beer Garden, Miami Beach*s first gastro-pub has brought to the neighborhood a South Beach feel unique and only found in the grand days of long gone South Beach. The Beach, only 2 blocks away from the Hotel, is pristine with a beautiful new boardwalk that runs the length of the beach. North Beach, as the area is termed, offers quiet and solitude, authentically and affordability, the new and fun alternative to South Beach. |
