The building was designed by renowned New Orleans architect James Gallier in 1831. In 1983, it underwent historical renovation. Enjoy the atmosphere of the resort itself, the French Quarter, and many historic buildings and museums. Walk along the Mississippi River or enjoy exciting nightlife and an evening cruise. Resort amenities include a tropical courtyard with a wading pool. No pets allowed. Elevators are on site. A car is NOT necessary as public transportation is available. Parking is not available on site, however is available nearby at USD 18.00/day daily rate subject to change without notice. MOST RESORTS ARE RESTORED HISTORICAL BUILDINGS THAT REFLECT THE CHARM AND HISTORY OF THE CITY.
