The town of Great Neck was home to F. Scott Fitzgerald, and the hotel has successfully recaptured that era with Art Deco detailing and period murals depicting scenes from The Great Gatsby. The theme continues through to The Giraffe Room restaurant with its hand-painted walls, original Argentinean Art Deco paintings and a giraffe collection from around the world.
The hotel is an ideal haven for retail enthusiasts, with numerous designer boutiques just moments away. For the sports enthusiast, CitiField, which is home to the New York Mets, is close by and so is the Belmont Race track and the National Tennis Centre, site of the US Open. |
