This boutique-hotel featuring 24 rooms including 5 suites has been totally refurbished keeping with France’s prominent 18th-century tradition. This hotel captures the quintessence of contemporary comfort and the pinnacle of lifestyle during King Louis XV’s reign with its cosy, classy boudoirs, and upscale comfort. Delicate fabric, tasteful furniture and period engravings blend elegantly with 2010’s state-of-the-art Bang & Olufsen telephones, iPhone loudspeakers, LCD screens and broadband wi-fi internet access. The Privilege rooms are chic cocoons encasing the cosy, intimate comfort that boudoirs–those delicious 18th-century inventions–revered. The walls are draped in original Brunshwig & Fils fabrics. The pallets of shades enhancing the decorative tones and themes that contemporaries cherished have a surprising, modern touch. Warm, radiant Burgundy stone clothes the generously-sized bathroom in cosy class. The halls and corridors on each of the six stories surprise guests as soon as they step out of the lift. The splendid canvases reproducing the Plan de Paris that Paris Municipality Chief Michel-Etienne Turgot commissioned in 1734 provide a stunning cavalier perspective of the city in that day.
