The Hotel Colosseum is located in the centre of Ancient Rome in a quiet residential street between the Cathedral of St. Mary Major; the Domus Aurea and the Coliseum. It is also not far from Termini the main railway station in Rome and a main intersection for public transport. The hotel is fortunate in that it finds itself in one of the highest points of the Esquilino Hill and thanks to its roof top terrace rewards its guests with a wonderful panoramic view of Rome. At the reception it is possible to get various information regarding sightseeing tours; taxis and local transport; car; bicycle and scooter rental. The rooms and the common areas of the hotel have WiFi coverage. There is also a fixed internet point for use by guests. The nearest metro stop Cavour is a short walk. The Opera House is also within walking distance and can be reached in about 10 minutes. In the vicinity there is the possibility of private garage parking and meter parking in the street. In case of need we provide a free luggage deposit. The Hotel Colosseum has also three comfortable conference rooms with reception area and an internet point. The conference facilities are provided with an amplification-audio system; overhead projector; marker board and screen together with an internet connection with WiFi and ADSL by cable. It is possible to rent a PC; video projector and laptop. On request it is possible to organize coffee breaks or lunch alternatively we are able to make reservations in an affiliated restaurant located within walking distance. We can also organise a hostess service and sightseeing tours of the city. Additional Information; Children age 2 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 3-12 will pay the Extra Child Charge. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number. |
