About Hotel Casa Austria
We are a first class Bed and Breakfast (but we also serve lunch and dinner if requested). In total we have 8 rooms, divided into 2 complete small houses. Each house has its own kitchen. We also rent the complete house for families or companies on a long term basis and they want to feel at home. 3 SGL rooms with one bed each. 5 DWL rooms, with 2 comfortable hard queen beds each. Private bath with hot water and the room has its writing desk. Closet, cable color tv, and wireless internet. We have no facilities for the handicapped.
Casa Austria is located in a residencial area, in a close compound with private security, closed to the new American Embassy. The area is called Sta. Elena. From the airport the best way to get to the hotel is by taxi. Cost: Aprrox. $20.00. There is no public transportation from airport. When you take the taxi tell them you go to Casa Austria, Sta. Elene. If you have a rented car, drive to the new American Embassy, continue straight ahead to Malta circle and between Banco Agricola and Mr. Dounut you will find a check point. You inform them where you are going, and they have the obligation to show you the hotel, or take a left turn and 200 meters ahead is our sign. Transportation from Casa Austria to downtown could be made with bus, but we suggest a taxi. Time 15 minutes.
