The Hotel Royal San Marco is adjacent to the world-famous St. Mark's Square, located in the very heart of Venice, a place where you will discover a magical atmosphere along with traditional Venetian hospitality. The main entrance is in "Calle Dei Fabbri" a quaint alley at the foot of "Ponte Dei Dai" bridge, one of the access points to St. Mark's Square. It is widely reported that the hotel was built on the foundation of an antique palace which was a favorite residence of the most romantic and discerning travellers. The elegant entrance leads to a comfortable lobby and breakfast room, an inviting bar and cozy reading room, all placed at our guests' exclusive disposal. On arrival, you will be greeted with a warm and professional welcome by our staff, and the service offered to you by all our personnel during your stay will allow you to appreciate firsthand the authentic hospitality that Venice is still proud to offer visitors. By the lift, the grand central staircase in marble and wrought iron leads to the upper floors, where some rooms overlook a charming little canal (Canale Delle Procuratie) which runs alongside St. Mark's Square, and where gondolas can be seen bobbing as they silently awaiting their clients. From other rooms, you can glimpse the bell tower of St. Mark Square's or admire the picturesque scene below, on Calle Dei Fabbri. All rooms have private bathrooms with bath or shower and are furnished in traditional Venetian style and equipped with modern comforts: individually controlled air-conditioning,heating, safe deposit box, minibar, WI FI. Laundry/dry-cleaning service and concierge are also available.
