The Locanda is situated on the first floor, the piano nobile, of a historic 16th century Venetian palazzo, in an area of considerable artistic and cultural interest. It lies only a short distance from Rialto and is near the rail and road terminals, in the very heart of Venice, in a characteristic area, alive with craftsmen s shops, trattorias and taverns. In 2001 the Locanda Sant Agostin was lovingly and tastefully restored. Its bedrooms are elegantly furnished with period furniture and objets d art and fitted with the most modern facilities for the most discerning of guests. The Locanda is easily reachable by vaporetto or on foot, from both rail and road terminal. It is so well situated that it gives the guests the chance of quick movement to any part of Venice.
