Centrally located in the heart of Whitehorse, Yukon, the Canada's Best Value Inn is a 2-story hotel that offers 53 spacious guest rooms with either a mountain or river view. Start your day with breakfast from our full service restaurant. All our rooms are furnished with high-speed internet, coffeemaker, cable TV, hairdryer, alarm clock, and wakeup service. Iron and ironing board are available in the guest laundromat. Some of our guest rooms have wireless internet access for a small access fee. We also have 24-hour unlimited internet use by wireless connection on our high speed computer in the lobby with an access fee of 5.00 CAD plus 6 pct. GST. We have fax and copy facilities, a guest laundromat, and underground parking for a fee. Come dine in our on-site restaurant and lounge, the Talisman*s Cafe, after a long day of sightseeing at many nearby historic landmarks. You will appreciate the friendly, welcoming atmosphere, in addition to English, our friendly front desk staff speaks at least one of the following languages: French, German, Italian and Spanish. Whitehorse is the Yukon's capital and owes a majority of its fame to the Klondike gold rush of the late 19th century, for which the city became a booming prospectors paradise. Hundreds of tourists head up to Whitehorse each year to enjoy the spectacular landscape. Some must see attractions: MacBride Museum, Old Long Church, White Pass Station, Capitan Martin House, Log Skyscrapers, Canyon City, and S.S. Klondike. |
