| Wuhan is situated in the middle of Hubei Province of China, the east of Jianghan Plain, and the intersection of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and Hanshui River. It extends from Baidicheng (White Emperor City) in Fengjie County, Chongqing Municipality to Nanjin Pass in Yichang, Hubei Province (Only 3.5 hours by car from Wuhan), consisting of Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge, with a full length of 193 km!PS Yellow Crane Tower The landmark of Wuhan city, the tower lies on the bank of the Yangtze River in Wuchang offering a very pleasant area with gardens and from the top of the tower, a full view of the city including the Wuhan Yangtze River 1st Bridge. By taxi 12km NW 15 minutes. To get there, get to Jianshe Avenue from Taipei Yi Lu and cross the Wuhan Yangtze River via the 1st Bridge. Gui Yuan Temple An active Buddhist Temple located in Hanyang, the Temple was built during the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties "C year 1658. The main attractions are statues of 500 arhats. By taxi 8km NE 10 minutes. From the hotel, get onto Jianshe Avenue from Taipei Yi Lu and cross the Jianghan Bridge East Lake Scenic Zone One of four star rated national tourist scenic spots, is located by vast East Lake of Wuchang District. With the water area of 33km2, its total area reaches 80km2, including the land scenic zone round the Lake. It has been built since 1950 and nowadays has owned three characterized tourism zones: Tingtao Zone, Moshan Zone and Luohong Zone. By taxi 20km NW 30 minutes. From the hotel, first get on Jiefang Avenue from Taipei Yi Lu and cross the Yangtze River via the 2nd Bridge. |
