About Grace Hotel Sydney
The Grace Hotel is an elegantly restored 11-storey heritage listed art deco Hotel built in 1930. It was originally built as headquarters for the Australian department store Grace Brothers, and has been classified by the Australian National Trust. Restoration has been meticulous with many original features retained such as light fittings, lifts, stairwells,pressed-metal ceilings, marble floors, wide hallways & elegant decorative ironwork. Situated in the heart of Sydney's CBD, The Grace Hotel fronts three of Sydney's most prominent streets - York, King & Clarence. Guests are only minutes walk from all the attractions of Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay and King St. Wharf. Also within walking distance, you'll find the best shopping at the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) & Pitt St. Mall. Nearby, guests will also be delighted to find The Rocks, Circular Quay, Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. All our spacious rooms designed with the frequent traveller in mind with large work areas, voice mail & data points for every room. Individual comfort is enhanced with feather comforters & pillows.
