About Ruffles Lodge
Ruffles Lodge is one of those unexpected finds that most travellers never get to see. Only 30 minutes from Surfers Paradise, 45 minutes from Brisbane, and a pleasant drive to Tamborine Mountain and Lamington National Park, Ruffles Lodge has a 5 star rating and is hidden in a tranquil environment at Willow Vale in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The lodge is luxurious and very private. It is perched on a ridge with expansive views and surrounded by 50 acres of landscaped gardens and eucalypt forest. With only six villas (4 more and day Spa in November 07) and a relaxed and intimate atmosphere the experience is unlike a normal hotel.
Ruffles Lodge is set in the Gold Coast Hinterland midway between the mountains and the sea, although only 10 minutes drive from the Motorway. The Lodge sits on a ridge at height of 175 metres. It is a 40 minute drive from the Gold Coast airport at Coolangatta and 50 minutes from the airport in Brisbane.
