About Smiths Beach Resort

Smiths Beach Resort is blessed with a pristine beach front location, designed with an understated sophistication and located in the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region. Nestled between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin the award-winning resort provides an ideal retreat in a location that is lovingly tendered and preserved. This is the perfect place from which to experience all that the Margaret River Wine Region has to offer. Spend your days relaxing on the beach or soaking in the pool, visit some wineries and sample the latest vintage, dine amongst the vines or overlooking the beach, drive through lush forests and beautiful countryside, explore the caves and coast. There is just so much to do. The diversity of the accommodation offered at the resort makes it the ideal place to relax. All rooms are self catering, with separate living areas complete with full kitchens, laundry facilities and living areas. The Resort does not offer room service or daily room serving except for SLH Members. For those who prefer not to self cater, Smiths Beach Resort offers excellent dining facilities including Lamonts Restaurant at Smiths Beach with a wondeful alacarte menu, a Tapas Bar, and a Gourmet Deli and Bottleshop. The Resort is located directly opposite the beach, with only a small service road in between, and features a tennis court, large swimming pool and childs pool. Injidup Spa is located overlooking the ocean just 5 minutes drive away, offering a divine range of spa treatments in a superb setting. The resort has direct access to the renowned Cape to Cape Track, ideal for a leisurely stroll or a more ardent adventure for serious bush walkers

Sitting within the internationally acclaimed Margaret River Wine Region Smiths Beach Resort is located immediately adjacent to world class Smiths Beach and is only a few hundred meters from Canal Rocks (an extraordinary formation of granite rocks). The site faces due north and is bounded by Smiths Beach Road to the east and north. Located at the bottom of a hill the site is largely protected from prevailing winds and its visual impact on the local landscape is minimal due to a well vegetated sand dune system. Smiths Beach Resort is the only north facing location currently approved for development on the coastal strip between Cape Naturalist and Cape Leeuwin.
