The Schlossberghotel stands for the perfect combination of contemporary creation and many years of experience. Art is a companion with the goal of unifying the commodities of a hotel rich in tradition and the pleasure of art in a gallery. Family owned for more than 25 years the Schlossberghotel differs greatly from the tourist industry of a big hotel chain being a small city hotel with 54 rooms for demanding guests. The central location adds to the comfort- only a three-minute walk to the pulsating centre of the city - central square with city hall. Also the congress centre the Kunsthaus the swimming island in the Mur and the clock tower are reachable in a few minutes. A unique hotel with all comforts tightly pressed up against the mountain s rocky face. But behind its blue facade it is dominated by an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity combined with urbane elegance. The Schlossberghotel has the appearance of an idyllic small townhouse. We refurbish our house in order to continue providing our guests unique experiences. This year we will change in the recreation area completely. For this reason from 20 December 2011 the sports and recreation area of our house will remain closed.
