Hidden Valley Inn is situated on 7200 acres of private property in the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, the largest and oldest of Belizean parklands. The red clay, granite out-crops tumbling waterfalls, huge limestone caves and rolling open savanna grasslands bordered by lush tropical rainforest, make the Reserve unique in Central America. Our location provides easy access to the well known scenic attractions of Hidden Valley (1000 Foot) Falls, Rio on Pools and Falls, Caracol as well as to many seldom visited areas. Hidden Valley?s two diverse ecosystems are divided by a huge geological fault line, which marks the edge of a towering 1000 Foot escarpment. Below this escarpment lies lush tropical jungle and above is the Caribbean Pine Forest, currently recovering after the explosion of the pine beetle population.
