Txai Itacare is located in a coconut plantation of approximately 247 104 acres by the heavenly beach of Itacarezinho 48 km north of Ilheus and 15 km south of Itacare in Bahia States southern region called the Cocoa Coast. The region is the only segment of this Atlantic Shore with rocky cliffs which hide in their coves small white sand and blue sea beaches. The resort area is within the APA Itacare Serra Grande one of the best preserved Atlantic Rainforest reserves in Brazil.
