New in its concepts of architecture and interior design, but still appealing to a knowledgeable audience of artists from all around the globe. With a focus on Brazilian creativity, the Pergamon's furniture has been designed by local experts; all pieces and finishing elements shaped by Brazilian artists and craftsmen, utilizing local raw materials. The hotel generates visually clean, minimalist environments combined with modern shapes, patterns and colours. All 123 rooms are ruled by a perennial concept, the joining of comfort and cosiness. The Pergamon's library provides Brazilian art books, local masterpieces in several languages and a selection of works from native gaucho writer Erico Verissimo, who gives his name to the annexed restaurant. Verissimo has quickly become Sao Paulo's culinary Mecca under Laurent Suadeau, one of the most respected chefs in Brazil. Pergamon is located in the Heart of Sao Paulo, near downtown.
