Built in 1932 - the Raffles Grand Hotel d*Angkor has finally been restored to the majesty of the past - complementing the grandeur of Angkor as never before. In addition to the meticulous restoration of the French-colonial architectural and decorative styles - some of the original features of the hotel were preserved. In 1932 - the hotel was the only building to have a cage elevator. Now the restored original resides in the lobby. The 60.000 square metres of gardens have also been restored with over 20.000 flowering plants - shrubs and local trees.
