About Hacienda Los Lingues
Visiting Hacienda Los Lingues is like going back to the colonial days. It is part of the Angostura Estate given in 1599 by the King Phillip III to the first mayor of Santiago in recognition of his valuable services. This estate has remained within the same family for more four centuries and has been preserved until today as one of the oldest and most representative of its era. Four hundred years of history can be seen in the entangled nature, in the gigantic trees, in the empty spaces where every thing has grown.
