About The Aubrey
Independently Australian and English owned, The Aubrey is the first true boutique hotel in Santiago. Located at the foot of San Cerro Cristobal Hill in the bohemian barrio of Bellavista, Santiago's hippest neighbourhood, boasting chic restaurants, cafes and bars and an arty atmosphere. The hotel is the result of a beautiful restoration project spanning 3 years of two Spanish colonial mission style mansions formerly the home of the Chilean political dynasty, the Duran family with a unique history and was the setting for 30 years of the 'Almuerzos Legendarios de cada Jueves'. Designer-fashioned salons and rooms are individually created as state of the art with unique comfort and a spacious atmosphere. The Aubrey opened it's doors in March 2010. It is on the Condes Nast Traveller Hot List 2010.
