About Iguana Lodge
Iguana Lodge is the Osa Peninsula's premier beach eco-resort. Established over eleven years ago, Iguana Lodge is founded on the principles of sustainable tourism, personalized service, joy, health, and well-being. Located on the most beautiful beach on the Osa (no kidding), ten minutes outside of peaceful Puerto Jimenez, Iguana Lodge is a contemporary, lushly landscaped resort with a 20 meter lap pool and Jacuzzi, two yoga decks and complimentary yoga classes*, a deluxe spa, a fabulous Tico staff, award winning fresh, healthy meals at our two restaurants, our own naturalist, and excellent jungle and ocean adventures. There isn't much night life here**, and all our structures are ecofriendly and natural - no air conditioners, televisions, or telephones - although we do have Wifi sprinkled about - and many of our rooms do not have locks, although safes are provided in each room.
If you are thinking about coming to the Osa, remember that the Osa still is "the Last Great Peninsula... still untouched by the ravages of civilization, with over 350 species of birds, 115 species of reptiles, 750 species of trees and 10,000 species of insects... along with the 100,000 acre fantastic Corcovado National Park," per National Geographic. The Osa is a remote, gorgeous, rainforest.
