The Soparken Hotel was built in 1988 and last renovated in 1998. With 49 rooms all with bath, toilet, trouser press, TV and telephone. 15 of the rooms are especially suitable for the disabled. The hotel can accommodate small or large parties of up to 300 people and also conferences up to 150. From the hotels charming restaurant with terrace, a beautiful view of the lake can be enjoyed together with afternoon tea or a delicious meal from the hotels menu. Hotel Soparken is child friendly with a playroom, billiards, darts and a lot of surrounding space for football or other ball games.

Aabybro is a charming shopping town with large swimming baths and splendid countryside. It is only approximately 20km/12.5mi to Aalborg town centre and 15km/9.4mi to Farup Sommerland and aquapark. The town of Blokhus, with its internationally renowed beaches, is only 20km/12.5mi away.
