Great access Santiago Airport STI 2 hours from The Palace PRIVATE AIRPORT For private aircraft, El Catey Airport, in Samana, is located only 40 minutes from The Palace. AIR TRANSFER BY HELICOPTER No matter which of the four airports in the Dominican Republic that you fly into you always have the option to fly to The Palace at Playa Grande by helicopter. The Palace has it own private Helipad on resort grounds and waives the landing fee for resort guests. From Puerto Plata Airport, a helicopter transport for up to 3 passengers with light or carry on luggage is 950 USD each way. Check with The Palace on helicopter flight fees from the other airports.
