Chateau d Ige This chateau was built in 1235 by the Counts of Macon. Its four feudal towers and two 18th century tours look down imperiously on a peaceful romantic garden. The rooms are pleasant and carefully looked after matching the warm welcome given to guests. A highlight is the Suite du Parc located in the tower under a gothic arch. Ige is located South Burgundy to 12 kms of Cluny a land of vineyards and terroir produce copiously used in the restaurant.
