The Privilege rooms are chic cocoons encasing the cosy, intimate comfort that boudoirs–those delicious 18th-century inventions–revered. The walls are draped in original Brunshwig & Fils fabrics. The pallets of shades enhancing the decorative tones and themes that contemporaries cherished have a surprising, modern touch. Warm, radiant Burgundy stone clothes the generously-sized bathroom in cosy class. The halls and corridors on each of the six stories surprise guests as soon as they step out of the lift. The splendid canvases reproducing the Plan de Paris that Paris Municipality Chief Michel-Etienne Turgot commissioned in 1734 provide a stunning cavalier perspective of the city in that day. Hotel de Buci Lobby and Breakfast room will be closed from the 08th of January to the 10th of March 2011 for refurbishment works.
