Auberge du Pont Romain Between the Gard and Herault departements in the medieval city of Sommieres this Inn was a rug factory in the nineteenth century. The 17 rooms have kept their radiance and the size required for this meticulous trade. Overlooking the River Vidourle and its Roman Bridge time seems to move on and yet the spirit of craftsmanship lives on in this residence. The location delivers its history and climate to all comers. Thierry and Frederic showcase outstanding cuisine full of colour and imagination. In their very own way they maintain the unfinished work of the tapestry makers of the Roman Bridge Inn.
