The Hotel Metropolitan is an attractive 3 star Hotel in the heart of Berlin; however quietly located in a small side street. The hotel is an impressive building dating back to 1900s which was lovingly refurbished in 2006 and 2007; keeping up its charm but combining it with contemporary style and standard. The 76 rooms on five levels connected by lift are all equipped with en-suite bathrooms with either a shower or tubs; flat screen TVs; complimentary WIFI internet access and a telephone. Some rooms have balconies and non-smoking rooms can be requested. Outdoor parking at the hotel or public parking is available at a charge. Additional Information; Children age 5 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 6-12 pay 10 EUR. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right to without prior notification cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

In the immediate proximity of the hotel are the Berlin Zoo; the memorial church and the famous KaDeWe; as well as the Europa center located on Berlin main shopping street Tauentzien. Also very accessible are the Brandenburg gate and the Potsdamer Platz.
