About Hotel Taschenbergpalais Dresden

The Hotel Taschenbergpalais is one of Dresden's most beautiful buildings, located at the heart of Dresden's old town, a few minutes from Zwinger, Theatre Square and the Semper Opera House offering superb dining, leisure, business and conference facilities. Built in the early 18th Century by August the Strong for his mistress, Countess Anna Constanze von Cosel, it was destroyed during World War II. Between 1993 and 1995 the palace was carefully reconstructed and many original features, including the stuccowork, baroque walls and staircases, the Cellar and fountains were faithfully preserved. The Hotel Taschenbergpalais finally reopened in grand style 1995

Built by August the Strong in the eighteenth century and recently completely restored, the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Dresden blends baroques style with contemporary elegance. It is harmoniously integrated in the heart of the historical old city of Dresden. Situated next to the famous Semper Opera House, the "Zwinger" and the Residence Castle.
