Well known as the home of the Zeppelins; Friedrichshafen has developed itself to a cultural centre. Visit the Zeppelin museum or the school museum. In addition Friedrichshafen is a favoured place for well known fairs like the Eurobike or the Outdoor fair. Taking a bus or ship Friedrichshafen is a starting point for many different excursions in one of the neighboring countries like Switzerland; Austria or Liechtenstein. Places like Lindau; Meersburg; Insel Mainau; Pfaender and Saentis are recommended. Additional information; Children under the age of 8 stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding.
