About City Partner Servicehotel Gewuerzmuehle
The history of our house begins already in 1922. In this year the brothers Schreiter founded their spice factory. After numerous political and thus also economic changes during World War 2 various restructuring measures started. During the 1960s the privately owned enterprise named VEC Gewuerze was transformed. The business was commonly known as Gewuerzmuehle. After extensive renovations of the old building and the conversion into a hotel we decided to keep the traditional name. Our City Partner Hotel is located in the heart of Gera, only a few minutes to walk to shopping centres and the market place.
