In 1875 the licensed house Zum Deutschen Kaiser was opened in the countrified property of the Muehltalstrasse No 41 in Heidelberg-Handschuhsheim. This happened at that time in honor of the birthday of imperator Wilhelm I. After a couple of changes of ownership and turbulent times we have taken over the Deutscher Kaiser after a complete restoration in the summer 2007. Today the 3 Star Deutscher Kaiser offers 17 comfortable equipped studios and hotel rooms as well as an elegant cafe bar. Each of the rooms has its own individual charm with pleasant coloring.
