About Golden Tulip Kassel Hotel Reiss
Originally built around 1855, Hotel Reiss was the first address for art, culture and entertainment in Kassel. Besides numerous operas, gala performances and masked balls, it hosted one of the most famous vaudeville acts in Germany. And thanks to the hotel`s own club called Tanz-Park, it became the place to be for dancers and revelers too. During the 1950s, Hildegard Knef and Heinz Ri??hmann celebrated their film premiere parties here. In the 1990s, the hotel had to close its doors until the year 2002 when the vacant building opened for a short time, for readings or dance in the context of Documenta 11.
Centrally located in the heart of Kassel and within walking distance to downtown and many shopping opportunities,we welcome you to the "Golden Tulip Kassel Hotel Reiss".
