Our small but exclusive retreat sports only 4 Double Bedrooms and 4 Apartments. Features include full parquet flooring and walk in showers. The Double Rooms were added at the turn of the century to the former farm buildings of the 60s and are located on the first floor. They are west facing with spectaular views over the vineyards. Each room has 2 chairs and a low slung table on the deck outside the room, where our own wines and champagnes can be enjoyed while watching the sun set. Our restaurant, set back on the ground in the former stables will serve you snacks on your deck or you can taste their food in the dining room in front of a log fire in the winter or on the splendid wooden terrace in the summer. The Apartments were added on the eastern part of the U shaped complex each featuring a kitchenette and a balcony facing the courtyard.

Since 1811 the former winery has been in the same family. The property lies in the Palatinate between Worms and Alzey. It is on the slope outside the town of Osthofen and is surrounded by vineyards and paddocks. Although within 10 minutes drive of the Autobahn A61, it is a wonderfully peaceful place. To explore the area you can start in Worms, only 8km away. We have bicycles available; it is a comfortable ride on dedicated cycling ways. Worms is where Siegfield, the dragon slayer, met the pround Kriemhild in the saga of the Nibelungs, celebrated every August for 2 weeks in an open air opera event in front of the cathedral St. Peter. Originally dating from the 11th century, St. Peter is one of the finest places of Romanesque architecture. Holy sand is the oldest and largest known remaining Jewish cementery in Europe. In Osthofen itself we can organize a wine tasting for you and you guests.
