About Hotel Roter Hahn
Built in the year 1380- the Hotel Roter Hahn has served guests from near and far for more than 600 years and is therefore one of the oldest inns in all of Germany. Kings and Princes have lodged here- as well as merchants and commoners. In the year 1905 it was purchased by Johann Scherer and is still in the possession of the proprietor family. Hospitality has therefore had a long sense of tradition in our establishment. We strive to make our guests stay in our hotel and in Rothenburg a pleasant and memorable experience. All who are employed in our hotel- dedicate all of their professional knowledge to the benefit of our guests. For us- personal attention and friendly care are major attributes of hospitality.
