The Art Fabrik Hotel is ideally located for both, business and leisure travellers. Originally built as a factory for smaller hardware, it was completely renovated and adapt to a fascinating art hotel in 2003 with an own art gallery as well as artist studios. Every guest room, suite, lobby and restaurant is created in an artful design by another artist and appears as a whole artwork. The Art Fabrik Hotel is located in Wuppertal-Heckinghausen, near train station Wuppertal-Oberbarmen. The famous cable railway as well as the river Wupper can be reached by a short walk of about 10 minutes. The city centre of Wuppertal-Elberfeld is about 6km away it takes about 10 minutes by car getting there. With public transportation we can recommend the cable railway and you will need about 20 minutes by floating the river. The zoo, botanic garden, the famous Von-der-Heydt museum and many more points of interest are easy to reach by car or public transportation.
